Sri Lanka’s ODI squad for the ODI series against West Indies has been officially announced today (18).
Many players from the squad who played the one-day series against India were included in this squad, but Akila Dhananjaya and Chamika Karunaratne, who played that series, have not been allocated a place in this squad.
Due to Wanindu Hasaranga’s injury in the completed tournament, Geoffrey Wandase, who performed well, has taken the place of Akila Dhananjaya, and young player Chamindu Wickramasinghe has been called instead of Chamika Karunaratne.
This three-match tournament will be held from October 20 to 26 and all the matches will be held at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy.
