Josh English, the wicket-keeper batsman who led the Australian cricket team in the upcoming T20I series with Pakistan, has been appointed.

Currently, the Pakistan team has gone to Australia and is playing a three-match ODI series there. After the completion of this ODI series, the T20I series in which both the teams will participate will take place.
Although the Australian squad for this T20I series was announced last week, the captain has not been announced. As things stand, 29-year-old Josh English has been named as the captain of the Australian T20I team.
Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head, who were captaining the Australian T20I team, have not played in the Pakistan T20 series due to family holidays, and Josh English has been given the captaincy.
Also, in the third one-day match against the Pakistan team, since senior players like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazelwood, Marnus Labachene and Steve Smith will be rested due to the Indian Test series, it has been reported that Josh English will lead the Australian team in that match as well.
It is noteworthy that the three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Australia will begin on the 14th of this month in Brisbane.
