Pakistan 'A' take control after Sri Lanka 'A' batters falter on Day

The first unofficial Test between Sri Lanka ‘A’ and Pakistan ‘A’ commenced today (11th November) at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Having been asked to bat first, the visitors had a terrible time with the bat as they were bowled out for just 115 runs.

The middle-order batters Sonal Dinusha (30) and Pasindu Sooriyabandara (28) were the top scorers for Sri Lanka ‘A’.

Kashif Ali and Khurram Shahzad who shared the new ball for Pakistan ‘A’ dismantled the visitors’ batting lineup sharing 9 wickets between them.

In reply, the hosts made 66 runs for 2 wickets at the close of play on Day 1. The left-arm spinner Wanuja Sahan and left-arm seamer Vishwa Fernanda bagged a wicket each for Sri Lanka ‘A’.
