Sri Lanka 'A' tour of Pakistan 2024

The third day of the second unofficial Test between Sri Lanka ‘A’ and Pakistan ‘A’ worked off today (20th November) at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan ‘A’ posted 287 runs in reply to Sri Lanka ‘A’s first innings score of 310. The left-arm spinner Wanuja Sahan was the pick of the bowlers for the visitors as he snared 5 wickets for 74 runs.

Sri Lanka ‘A’ began their second innings 23 runs ahead and put on 157 runs for 4 wickets at the close of play on Day 3.

The middle-order batters Pavan Rathnayake and Sonal Dinusha struck unbeaten half-centuries and put on a century stand (111 runs) for the fifth wicket. Sri Lanka ‘A’ lead by 180 runs with 6 wickets in hand going into the fourth and final day.
