Goods and equipment worth 8.4 million US dollars donated by the Japan government were handed over to the airport officials at a ceremony held at Katunayake Airport Gold Route Terminal on 11/29 afternoon.
Ambulances, garbage trucks, self-loading garbage cans, and the latest C-2 technology for luggage Scanners, Toilet systems, medical equipment, equipment required for electronic immigration windows for immigration officers (Electronic Gate), Scanners for checking passengers’ passports were there in the donation.
