St. Anthony’s College Kandy hosted Richmond College Galle in their tier ‘A’ encounter today (10th December) at Katugastota.
In the game between St. Anthony’s College and Richmond College, St. Anthony’s College set a strong target for Richmond College. Charuka Ekanayake showcased his batting brilliance once again, scoring 92 runs, including 13 boundaries. Anjana Dineth and Kevan Ramika also contributed with half-centuries.
On the bowling front, Pubudu Mihiranga claimed 4 wickets for 79 runs. Malith De Silva and Minaga Ariyadasa provided support for Richmond College, with Malith De Silva taking 3 wickets for just 36 runs and Minaga Ariyadasa securing 2 wickets for 49 runs.
In response, Richmond College scored 20 runs without losing a wicket by the end of the day.
