A few showers may occur in the Northern and Eastern provinces today, while mainly fair weather will prevail in the other areas of Sri Lanka, according to the Department of Meteorology.
Misty conditions can be expected in some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, Uva and North-central provinces in the morning.
Meanwhile, mainly fair weather will prevail in the sea areas around the island.
The sea areas around the island will be slight to moderate.
