Former Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe will deliver a keynote address on global issues at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, India today (28 Feb).
Ranil Wickremesinghe left for India yesterday to attend the event, where his address will focus on South Asia’s geopolitical landscape, economic challenges, and regional cooperation.
The event, attended by diplomats and distinguished guests, will see Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott also delivering speeches.
During his visit, Ranil Wickremesinghe is expected to hold discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on key bilateral and regional matters and engage in discussions with prominent Indian business leaders.
The former President is scheduled to return to Sri Lanka on 02 March. (Islandnews)
