Another match of the under-19 school cricket tournament organized by the Sri Lanka School Cricket Association and the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute ended without a solution today (11).
Dharmaraja Vidyalaya of Kandy and Sri Sumangala Vidyalaya of Panadura competed in this match which was run as a Tier B match of the first division.
However, only 32 overs could be played in this match which was scheduled to be played over two days.
The Dharmaraja players, who launched the only innings of the match, managed to score 143 runs for the loss of 2 wickets, and for this, the captain Pulindu Perera contributed with 92 runs not out. This innings, launched in 89 balls, contained 17 fours.
It is a matter of regret that due to the heavy rain these days, many matches in the local cricket ground could not be held properly.
