Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage had called the officials of the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute to the Ministry of Sports last Monday (16) to discuss the current state of cricket.
Here, the plans for the development of facilities for the game of cricket, how to improve the stadiums reserved for the game of cricket in a more sustainable way, and how to use the game of cricket for the promotion of tourism have been discussed here.
Apart from that, the attention of the minister has also been focused on the mechanism of the current cricket institution and the methods for solving the problems that have arisen quickly.
