Raveen Alexander and Kelum Sandaruwan are set to officiate at the Cobra Ten’s which are set to take place in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia on the 2n.d and 3rd of November.
The Rugby ten’s tournament is set to take place for the 51St occasion at the Padang Astaka in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
Raveen Alexander receives well deserved spotlight and recognition, having been by far the best referee in the circuit in Sri Lanka. He received the honor of referring the CR & FC vs Kandy League decider along with 12 other Schools’ Rugby Matches this season.
Raveen also officiated at the Borneo 7’s in Malaysia this March as well as the Asia Rugby 7’s in Nepal in October.
Kelum Sandaruwan excelled this season in the Schools’ Rugby arena, paving the way for him to secure the place to travel to the Ten’s tournament in Malaysia.
The last time Kelum traveled to Malaysia was in 2019 and this will be a great opportunity for him to officiate abroad. He was awarded 7 schools’ games this season to officiate and will no doubt be eager to officiate abroad.
Both Alex and Kelum are both up and coming referees and this will be a great chance for them to enhance their knowledge both theoretically and practically.
