The second day of the second 3-day game resumed play after the first day’s headlines were all about Rehan Peiris.
On day one Sri Lankan skipper Kithma Vidanapathirana won the all-important toss and elected to bat first. Justifying his decision to bat first the Sri Lankan batting unit put on a well-composed effort with the bat posting a very decent score of 304 runs.
