Browns Investments PLC, a subsidiary of the LOLC Group, has finalized the acquisition of Lipton Teas and Infusions Tanzania Limited on Friday, December 20, 2024, the company announced in a filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange.
The acquisition was executed through its subsidiary B Commodities ME FZE incorporated in the United Arab Emirates, the company said.
In May this year, LIPTON Teas and Infusions of the Netherlands, said it agreed to the terms of a partnership which will result in the transfer of its tea estates in Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania to Sri Lankan firm, Browns Investments. (Islandnews)
