The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has raided a factory manufacturing hair colouring products in Mattakuliya, seizing several contaminated products.
During the raid, CAA officials found hair colouring products manufactured using unsuitable items, including cement dust.
The factory was found to have created hair colouring products using damaged and expired goods unfit for human use.
CAA officials seized contaminated products estimated at a value of Rs. 28 million from the factory. (Islandnews)
