The U13 Division 1 Schools Cricket Tournament final saw Devapathiraja College, Rathgama, and DS Senanayake College, Colombo, crowned joint champions..
The game was originally scheduled to be held at the Royal College grounds in Colombo. Due to adverse weather, the final had to be relocated to St. John’s College grounds in Panadura

Despite the challenging weather, both teams displayed some good cricket. Batting first, Devapathiraja College set a solid total of 202/7 declared, with key contributions from their middle order. Denuwan Yoshitha led the charge with a well-constructed half-century, supported by valuable knocks from Diyath Sanjitha and Adeesha Gauthem.

In reply, DS Senanayake College managed to reach 42/0 in just 4.4 overs before the light was not suitable for play. Unfortunately, the weather disruptions and reduced play left no room for a decisive result.
