Bradby Shield winning Coach and Captain, Dushanth Lewke has been given the nod with the top job at Royal Rugby for the year 2025.

Having first joined the Royal College coaching staff in 2012 Lewke was promoted to the Head coach of the outfit in 2018. Since taking over the top job, he has enjoyed an illustrious tenure overseeing Royal College Rugby including league-winning outfits and multiple Bradby-winning teams.

A Distinguished Old Boy of Royal College, Lewke, achieved many milestones in his playing career as a loose forward for School, Club, and Country.

Lewke went on to win the Schools’ Rugby League in his maiden season at the helm, taking Royal College all the way in 2018, and going on to retain the title in 2019. This was no doubt a standout achievement for him with Royal College.

Having been promoted to the role of Head Coach at CR & FC, Lewke went on to bring glory to Longdon Place as he marshaled his troops to a League title in 2024, winning the Club Rugby League following a lapse of two decades.

Taking all of this into consideration, the Royal College Rugby Board has decided to stick to their guns and have handed Dushanth Lewke the top job for yet another season, with hopes of turning their fortunes around in 2025.
