The release date for the Farhan Akhtar film 120 Bahadur has been announced. The film is planned for release in November 2025. Makers revealed the poster, which showed Farhan Akhtar in a new role. Known for his versatility, Farhan has previously impressed audiences with his action-packed performances in films like ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ and ‘Wazir ‘. The film will be out on November 2, 2025. The Charlie Company soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment and Maj Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC are honored in the movie.
Excel Entertainment, owned by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, and Trigger Happy Studios, owned by Amit Chandrra, have revealed that 120 Bahadur will be released on November 21, 2025. Set against the backdrop of the 1962 Indo-China War, it is based on the legendary Battle of Rezang La, where history was made through unparalleled bravery and sacrifice. Farhan will portray Major Shaitan Singh.
The movie is about the Rezang La battle. On November 18, 1962, 120 Charlie Company soldiers fought against an invading force of more than 3,000 Chinese troops in the freezing mountains of Ladakh. These warriors fought to their last breath, protecting the country’s border despite being heavily outnumbered and facing intense cold. Their tenacity and bravery, in the face of overwhelming odds, is a testament to the spirit of sacrifice and courage that defines the Indian military history.
