Police have arrested a father and son in connection with a murder that occurred in the Dematapitiya area of Madampe on December 22.
The incident reportedly began as an argument between two individuals and escalated into violence. A 42-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death using hands and feet.
The victim, a resident of the Kakkapalliya area in Mankulam, succumbed to his injuries, prompting police investigations.
The suspects, aged 28 and 53, were apprehended yesterday evening in the Dematapitiya area. Both are residents of Karuwalagaswewa.
