Campaigning activities of candidates contesting the 2024 General Elections will conclude at 12.00 midnight today.
According to the National Election Commission, a 48-hour silent period will commence, thereafter.
All news outlets related to print, broadcast, and social media have been instructed to follow the guidelines issued on election campaign reporting during the silent period.
News entities are permitted to publish election campaigning-related news tomorrow (12 Nov), as per the guidelines, but are required to refrain from publishing any such news on 13 and 14 November.Â
