Public Security Deputy Minister Sunil Watagala yesterday said that there is no risk of a drone attack on former President Mahinda Rajapaksa according to Government intelligence.
He also said that it is possible to make necessary changes in the former President’s security personnel allocation.
Watagala while commenting on a news report that there is a risk of a drone attack due to the reduction of security provided to former President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that there is no such risk according to Government intelligence.
The Deputy Minister said that the Police will work to obtain a statement from attorney Manoj Gamage, who made a statement in this regard.
“Gamage should make be more responsible with his utterances to the media.This type of statement helps mislead the public,”he said.
