The CID has questioned former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s chief security officer Neville Wanniarachchi.
According to the reports, he was interrogated for four hours yesterday (27). It has been revealed that this questioning has taken place regarding how Neville Wanniarachchi acquired the large amount of assets he is said to have.
Meanwhile, the CID has informed Yoshitha Rajapaksa, one of the sons of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, to give a statement on the charge of illegal acquisition of assets and he has been informed that he will come to the Criminal Investigation Department on the 3rd.
