Mr. Gihan de Silva has been appointed as the new chairman of the Sri Lanka Rupawahini Corporation.
The appointment have been made by the Minister of Health and Mass Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa for the vacancy caused by the resignation of the former chairman Mr. Senesh Dissanayake Bandara.
Mr. Gihan De Silva is an accomplished business professional with over 25 years of experience in multi-brand corporate operations in Sri Lanka.
Mr. Gihan is an alumnus of Nalanda College, Colombo, Mr. De Silva holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayawardenepura and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the University of Colombo.
In addition to his corporate success, Mr. Gihan de Silva is a member of the Presidential Task Force for the ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ program , a flagship program of the new government for national development and sustainability.
