It has been reported that the new changes made in the Sri Lanka Cricket Yap have been approved during the Executive General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Cricket Board held today (20).
It is noteworthy that the main issue in the new Yapu changes is that the right to vote during resolutions is limited from 147 members to 60 members. Also, ensuring that transparency is maintained in matters related to financial management is another important issue included in the new plan.
In addition to the Yapu changes, the appointment of Sri Lanka Cricket’s Administrative Elections Committee for the year 2025 also took place during the general meeting. It is noteworthy that the four-member election committee led by retired judge Malani Gunaratne is conducting the administrative elections of the Sri Lanka Cricket Board for the year 2025.
