The New Zealand squad for the T20 and ODI cricket matches to be held against Sri Lanka has been announced.
It is special that Mitchell Santner has the leadership of this double squad.
Earlier, with the departure of former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson to the limited-overs leadership, there was a vacancy in that responsibility, and Santner has been given the leadership accordingly.
However, it has not been officially confirmed whether Santner will lead the team in the long term.
This squad can be introduced as a balanced squad consisting of new players as well as experienced players, and six players who are currently participating in the Test series in India are also included in this squad.
New Zealand Squad:
Mitchell Santner (leader), Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Josh Clarkson, Jacob Duffy, Lockie Ferguson, Zak Foulkes, Dean Foxcroft, Mitch Hay (wk), Henry Nicholls, Glenn Phillips, Tim Robinson, Nathan Smith, Ish Sodhi, Will Young
2 T20 matches and 3 ODI matches are included for this tournament which is going to start on November 9th.
