Police seek public support to arrest Minuwangoda robbery suspects


The Police have sought public assistance to apprehend two suspects wanted for carjacking a van belonging to a Cash in Transit service, carrying approximately Rs. 75 million, in Minuwangoda on 18 November. 

The Gampaha Division Crimes Investigations Unit had launched a probe into the incident to arrest the suspects who had fled with the stolen money. 

The Police are in search of the two suspects, aged 37 and 40 years old and are residents of Katana and Udugampola, respectively.

The public with knowledge of the whereabouts of the suspects has been requested to contact the Police via 071 – 8591608 or 071 – 8591610. (Islandnews)
