President to visit China next week

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will embark on a tour to China from 14-17 January 2025, Cabinet Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa said today.

Minister Nalinda Jayatissa provided details of the President’s tour to China while addressing the post-Cabinet media briefing held today. 

He said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism Vijitha Herath, and the Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports, and Civil Aviation Bimal Rathnayake will accompany the President on the tour. 

Minister Jayatissa further said that as the President embarks on his tour to China this year, China-Sri Lanka diplomatic relations will complete 68 years. (Islandnews)
