President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will embark on an official tour to India next week, the government announced today.
Cabinet Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa told the media today that the visit is expected to take place between 15-17 December 2024.
He further said that during the tour, President Dissanayake will engage in discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other high-ranking officials.
Minister Jayatissa went on to note that the President will be accompanied by the Foreign Minister and Deputy Minister of Finance.
He added that the Foreign Ministry will reveal details on the tour, including agreements to be signed between the nations, close to the visit. (Islandnews)
