The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has reported proposed the names of members from four different parties for its National List seats in the 10th Parliament of Sri Lanka.
The SJB has nominated the following politicians according to Election Commission sources
Mano Ganesan – Tamil Progressive Alliance
Nizam Karriyappar – Sri Lanka Muslim Congress
Sujeewa Senasinghe – Samagi Jana Balawegaya
Achu Mohamath – All Ceylon Makkal Congress
Earlier today, the District Court of Colombo issued a restraining order preventing the SJB from sending the list of nominations for the SJB National List to the Election Commission without including the name of SLMC Secretary Nizam Kariapper. (Islandnews)
