The second unofficial Test between Sri Lanka ‘A’ and Pakistan ‘A’ commenced today (18th November) at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Having been asked to bat first, the visitors got off to a terrible start losing half of their side for just 35 runs. Pavan Rathnayake and Dinura Kalupahana revived the innings to some extent, adding 59-run partnership for the sixth wicket.

Sonal Dinusha then bailed out Sri Lanka innings with another two half-century stands with Dinura Kaluphana and Wanuja Sahan for the 7th (56 runs) and 8th (98 runs) wickets respectively.

Dinusha scored unbeaten 81 runs while Sahan stroked 63 runs as Sri Lanka ‘A’ posted a respectable total – 293/8 on the board at the close of play on Day 1.
