Sri Lanka registered their 4th consecutive win with an 85-18 demolition of Japan at the 13th Asian Netball Championship 2024 at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium in Bangalore, India.
Just 10 seconds into the game, Sri Lanka lost center Sachini Rodrigo due to a knee injury following a clash with a Japanese player. One time the scores read 4-2 in favor of Sri Lanka but the islanders quickly raised the scoring rate to make it 17-6 at the end of the 1st quarter.

Sri Lanka added 22 against Japan’s 5 in the 2nd quarter to make it 39-11 at half time. It was 23-1 in the 3rd quarter (62-12) and 23-6 in the 4th quarter.
Sri Lanka rested Thishala Algama and Rashmi Perera for the 1st three quarters as they played with Dulangi Wannithilake and Hasitha Mendis at Goal Shooter & Goal Keeper. Overall, Sri Lanka shot 85 off 92 at 92%.
Dulangi Wannithilake scored 36/38 at 95% and Hasitha Mendis had 26 off 30 at 87%. Thishala Algama in the 4th quarter scored 18/19 at 95% and Rashmi was a perfect 5 out of 5.
