Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) and Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) managed to clinch the Men’s and Women’s titles respectively at the Munchee Super League National Volleyball Championship 2024.
Sri Lanka Ports Authority secured the Men’s National Title by registering a convincing win (3-0) over Ceylon Electricity Board in the final of the tournament held at the Sir Abert F. Peiris Indoor Stadium in Wennappuwa.

Sri Lanka Ports Authority won three sets consecutively with scores of 25-19, 25-22 and 25-21 showing their dominance over the opposition in the final.
Sri Lanka Air Force defeated Sri Lanka Ports Authority 3-1 to clinch the Women’s National Title for the seventh time.
Sri Lanka Air Force managed to take early advantage winning the first two sets with scores of 25-12 and 25-20, but Sri Lanka Ports Authority fought back hard winning the third set 25-14. However, Sri Lanka Air Force bounced back with another impressive performance in the fourth set with scores of 25-19 to clinch the victory.

Lasindu Methmal Wasanthapriya of Sri Lanka Ports Authority won the most valuable player award in the Men’s category while Chathurika Gayani Ranasinghe of Sri Lanka Air Force awarded the most valuable player in the Women’s category.
