Yesterday (27th), one more match in the Tier B section of the under-19 school cricket tournament organized by the Sri Lanka School Cricket Association and the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute ended without a solution.
In this match held between Panadura Sri Sumangala Vidyalaya and Colombo Wesley College, Neksha Iddamalgoda managed to score an excellent century for Sri Sumangala Vidyalaya, while Sandeep Wijeratne managed to score 92 runs. Meanwhile, Shamika Senanayake, who led Sumangala College to win the first innings in the match that ended without a solution, also managed to knock down 9 wickets in the two innings of Wesley College with a performance of five wickets.
Meanwhile, another three matches started yesterday, in these matches, Pesandu Sanjan managed to record a century for St. Thomas College, Matara, and Kausika Kumarasinghe managed to show a 5-wicket performance for St. Anthony’s College, Kandy. The three matches are scheduled to end today (28).
