A 28-year-old man linked to multiple motorcycle thefts was arrested on January 11 in the Panwilahena Watta area by the Kalutara Division Crime Investigation Unit. Officers found 1.750 grams of crystal methamphetamine in his possession.
The suspect, a resident of Galle, was handed over to the Kalutara South Police Station. Investigators determined he had stolen motorcycles and sold them to criminals and drug traffickers. Five stolen motorcycles from the Galle, Beruwala, and Poddala police divisions were recovered.
