Simon Taufel, a former ICC Elite Panel umpire, recently conducted a series of programs to improve the skills of domestic cricket umpires, match referees and umpire coaches in Sri Lanka.
This series of programs, which was implemented with the expectation of further raising the standards of Sri Lankan match referees, was held from the 6th to the 14th in Colombo R. It took place at the High Performance Center of Premadasa Stadium.
These programs were implemented separately for each category, in which he has distributed a wealth of valuable knowledge to 38 judges, 30 match referees as well as referee trainers.
It can be believed that this intervention of Simon Taufel, who was able to mark an excellent international reputation by winning the ICC referee of the year award five times, has played a very valuable role.
